My integrative approach to counselling consists of an effective blend of person centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive therapy. Briefly, this means I believe in the importance of offering every client acceptance and empathic understanding without fear of judgment, always respecting the right to be self governing.
I also offer my insights and observations, suggesting possible connections between past events and current thoughts and feelings.
Where appropriate I help to identify negative core beliefs that have been formed and assist in developing healthier alternative beliefs.
I have a high success rate with regard to outcomes and consider it a privilege to be a part of every person’s unique journey of personal growth and healing.
